Robert's Story
Hey everyone,
I am Rob Underkofler. I graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1975. I went on to Florida Junior College at Jacksonville, graduated in 1978 with an AA degree. I transferred to Emory University in Atlanta GA and graduated in 1980 with a BS degree in Biology. I then went on to Emory University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1984 with a DDS degree.
I went to work with my father in Jacksonville for a few years then I went to work for the State of Florida as a Dentist.
I worked in Baker County and then in Volusia County.
I then went to work for the Department of Corrections and became the Dentist at P...Expand for more
olk County Correctional Institution in Polk City Florida. From there I transferred back to Department of Health at became the Marion County Public Health Dentist based in Ocala Florida. I worked as a Public Health Dentist in Ocala for 12 years. I also worked one day a week at the University of Florida School of Dentistry as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Operative Dentistry. I then decided to go out on my own and started my own private dental practice in 2004.
I am married to Helen (Paulson) Underkofler. We have been married for 20 years. We have two teenage boys.
Ocala is a great place to live and raise a family.
